Snail Lake
This landlocked lake in the city of Shoreview is bordered by a regional county park.
Snail Lake is 190 acres in size, which includes a 35‑acre wetland on the northwest side of the lake. It is a recreational resource in the area and is bordered by Snail Lake Regional Park to the south. The park includes public access to the lake and a swimming beach. The lake is used for fishing, boating and swimming. During low‑water periods, inflow to Snail Lake is augmented by pumping water from nearby Sucker Lake. Under normal conditions Snail Lake is a landlocked basin, but under extreme conditions the lake may outlet to the south into the Grass Lake subwatershed.
