Bennett Lake

A 25-acre lake surrounded by Roseville’s Central Park with paths and a fishing pier.

Bennett Lake is the start of a chain of lakes that ultimately drains to Grass Lake. The City of Roseville’s Central Park surrounds Bennett Lake. It has a fishing pier and provides canoeing opportunities. Additionally, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources uses Bennett Lake as a fish rearing pond.

Water Quality

The following graphs show the growing season average measurements in Bennett Lake for chlorophyll-a, total phosphorus and secchi transparency. Bennett Lake is sampled for water quality parameters every two weeks from May through September. Bennett Lake was listed as impaired for excess nutrients in 2006.
