Magnolia Avenue Flood Risk Reduction

This project would create a new pond or wetland on the site to increase stormwater storage and reduce forecasted flood risk to properties in the surrounding neighborhood. Concept designs also include native plants to create pollinator habitat and recreation amenities. To create these features, trees will need to be cleared from the site, but the new site would include densely planted native trees and wildflowers to create a new, more accessible and visually pleasing landscape.
