Lakeview Lutheran is one of 12 projects funded in part by a Clean Water Fund grant to manage rainwater runoff at churches with large amounts of impervious surfaces. This project resulted in three rain gardens and a native planting area that provides pollinator habitat and filters runoff from the church parking lot. It reduces the volume of polluted rainwater draining into Kohlman Lake.
