Target Woodbury

Site improvements include two rain gardens  to improve drainage and filter phosphorus and excess nutrients from stormwater before reaching Battle Creek Lake .  To install these projects, eight parking spaces were removed, reducing the amount of impermeable surface on the site.  The north rain garden, measuring 14,270 sq ft, and the south rain garden, measuring 6,370 sq ft, receive stormwater from trench drains placed in four locations throughout the parking lot.
