Initially built in 1961, Aldrich Arena and its surrounding parking lot host many community events, games, and the Maplewood Farmer’s Market.The ice arena parking lot reduced impervious surfaces with 31,000 Sq ft of native plants and twelve rain gardens. The gardens treat water from the surrounding 11 acres, which eventually flows to nearby Wakefield Lake.
