WaterWise Garden Mentors Program
Native plant or rain garden owners looking for personalized guidance can receive support from a trained volunteer consultant through our WaterWise Garden Mentors. Volunteers will work with you during an onsite appointment on weed management, native plant identification, and offer tools and other resources to make long-term maintenance work for you. Appointments are available from May to September.
Each appointment is approximately 30-40 minutes at your property with a trained volunteer. If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact Ashlee Ricci at ashlee.ricci@rwmwd.org as soon as possible.
Volunteers
Volunteers have completed training prior to signing up for site visits. The training resources are available below. Volunteers represent local organizations such as the Ramsey County Garden Education Volunteers, MN Water Stewards, and Vadnais Lake Area Water Management Organization.
