This free, family festival celebrating our clean lakes provides an opportunity for outdoor hands-on learning about clean water, wildlife, and land and water conservation.
Experience activities on and around the water with Voyageur canoe and sailboat rides; paddleboats, canoes, and kayaks for checkout, fishing lessons, a fishing contest with prizes, water games, climbing walls, arts and crafts, face painting and lawn games, a Passport Odyssey with wonderful prizes, performers, food trucks. Weaving Water with local artist Sarah Nassif and lots more!

Plan Your Visit
Parking: WaterFest takes place at the Lake Phalen Park Pavilion (1600 Phalen Dr. St. Paul, MN 55106). Parking is limited so consider coming by bike or park-and-ride using our free shuttles from nearby locations.

Waiver: Activities such as canoeing, kayaking, climbing wall, and fishing require a signed waiver. Save time at the Info Tent by printing, signing, and bringing the activity waiver to the event!
Volunteering & Exhibiting
We are still looking for volunteers to assist with setting-up, helping with exhibits, cleaning-up, and generally making the day run smoothly!
