OVERVIEW:
The rain garden at New Horizon is one of the projects installed using funds from a Clean Water Fund watershed based funding grant from BWSR. The goal of this project was to install a rain garden that intercepts and filters rainwater runoff from the daycare parking lot. This reduces the volume of rainwater runoff and increases the quality of runoff that drains into Battle Creek.
